Apart from feasibility studies, the study work that we do focuses on the technical areas of electrical engineering and control systems. These studies can be categorised as Options studies, Performance Studies and Safety Studies.
Options studies include:
> Solar Generation Study
For a Solar Generation Study, we will assess the financial business case for installing solar generation for a customer. The study looks at different solar options, energy storage, solar irradience levels, capital equipment and construction costs to provide the customer with a reliable cost estimate and return on investment for solar energy installations.
> Generation Options Study
A Generation Options Study assesss the financial business case for various types of power generation at a customer's site. For the study we investigate relative costs for construction and operation of different generation options including rotating machines (diesel, gas, steam) engines or turbines and renewable energy generation (solar, wind, hydro, etc.).
> Power Supply Options Study
Our Power Supply Options Study investigates and reports on costs and risks associated with available options for supplying power to a site. These options may include a network grid connection, standalone powerstations or a combination and will also address powerline and substation requirements for getting power to the site. Power Supply Options Study include cost estimations for environmental compliance and land right-of-way corridors.
> Control System Option Study
A Control Systems Option Study reviews the available control system hardware and software platforms for suitability for automating a customers plant. The study reviews available technologies and platforms for cost, benefit and practicality for the location of the customer facility.
